Illinois High School Basketball - Illinois Valley Central ripped by Princeton

The Princeton Tigers basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts to 34 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Bede for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Princeton will battle a Bruins team coming off a 72-38 non-league loss to Marquette (Ottawa, IL). The Bruins record now stands at 3-2.

The Grey Ghosts (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Richwoods (Peoria, IL). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Richwoods was routed by Normal West (Normal, IL), 59-56, in a league contest.
