The Kewanee Boilermakers (Kewanee, IL) basketball felled the host Quest Charter Academy Gators (Peoria, IL), 72-57 in Friday's non-league test.

The Boilermakers (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL). The Comets go into the Three Rivers - East test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Newman Central Catholic thwarted Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL), 70-53, in a league test.

The Gators now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Abingdon/Avon for a non-league test on Saturday, December 3. Quest Charter Academy will encounter a Tornadoes squad coming off a 66-44 non-league loss to Illini West (Carthage, IL). The Tornadoes record now stands at 0-5.
