Texas High School Basketball - Smithville overwhelmed by Little River Academy

The Little River Academy Bumblebees basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Smithville Tigers to 32 in the Bumblebees non-league victory on Friday.

The Bumblebees now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chaparral for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. Little River Academy will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 73-30 non-league win over Hyde Park (Austin, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 8-0.

Next up, the Tigers play the Schulenburg Shorthorns (Schulenburg, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Smithville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record.
