Texas High School Basketball - Santa Anna can't hold off Lometa

The Santa Anna Mountaineers basketball team (Santa Anna, TX), was nudged 57-56 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Lometa Hornets (Lometa, TX)

The Hornets now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Concordia for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 3. Lometa will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 47-31 non-league loss to Cherokee (Cherokee, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-4.

The Mountaineers (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Priddy (Priddy, TX). The Pirates come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record.
