Texas High School Basketball - MacArthur can't hold off North Mesquite

The North Mesquite Stallions basketball team scored 38 points and held the host MacArthur Cardinals to 37 in the Stallions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Stallions now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brewer for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. North Mesquite will battle a Bears team coming off a 48-38 non-league win over Poteet (Mesquite, TX). The Bears record now stands at 8-1.

Next up, the Cardinals play the Poteet Pirates (Mesquite, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. MacArthur will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 74-40 non-league loss to Parish Episcopal (Dallas, TX).
