The Summit Academy Bears basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Maeser Prep Academy Lions to 24 in the Bears non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bears now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Summit Academy will battle a Leopards team coming off a 71-33 non-league win over Granger (West Valley City, UT). The Leopards record now stands at 2-1.

The Lions (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against American Leadership Academy (Spanish Fork, UT). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, American Leadership Academy triumphed over Virgin Valley (Mesquite, NV), 55-26, in a non-league contest.
