Kansas High School Basketball - Salina Central can't hold off Maize

The Maize Eagles basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Salina Central Mustangs to 50 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Andover for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Maize will battle a Trojans team coming off a 73-34 non-league win over Haysville Campus (Wichita, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 1-0.

The Mustangs (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hutchinson (Hutchinson, KS). The Salthawks come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
