Nevada High School Basketball - Mineral County topples Pershing County

December 2, 2022: Hawthorne, NV 89415

In Friday's non-league outing, the Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV) basketball squad beat the visiting Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV), by a count of 61-51.

The Serpents (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Churchill County (Fallon, NV). The Greenwave go into the non-league outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, Churchill County defeated Yerington (Yerington, NV), 51-34, in a non-league outing.

The Mustangs now hold a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Sierra Lutheran for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 3. Pershing County will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 62-49 non-league win over Smith Valley (Smith, NV). The Falcons record now stands at 2-1.

The Pershing County (Lovelock, NV) varsity basketball team lost Friday's neutral tournament game against Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV) by a score of 61-51.
