The South Allegheny Gladiators (McKeesport, PA) basketball crushed the host Monessen Greyhounds (Monessen, PA), 54-28 in Friday's non-league test.
The Gladiators (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Belle Vernon (Belle Vernon, PA). The Leopards go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Belle Vernon was trounced by Thomas Jefferson (Jefferson Hills, PA), 83-63, in a non-league test.
The Greyhounds now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Ringgold for a non-league test on Saturday, December 3. Monessen will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 55-46 non-league loss to Charleroi (Charleroi, PA). The Rams record now stands at 0-1.
