North Carolina High School Basketball - The Burlington School can't hold off Moravian Prep

December 2, 2022: Hudson, NC 28638

The Moravian Prep Lions basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting The Burlington School Spartans to 62 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Catholic for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Moravian Prep will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 74-31 non-league win over Currituck County (Barco, NC). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-0.

The Spartans (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Blue Ridge (St. George, VA). The Barons enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Blue Ridge nudged North Cross (Roanoke, VA), 95-36, in a league contest.
