Indiana High School Basketball - Northwestern holds off Western

December 2, 2022: Kokomo, IN 46901

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Northwestern Tigers (Kokomo, IN) and the visiting Western Panthers (Russiaville, IN), saw Northwestern's basketball squad hold off Western by a tally of 46-40.

With the victory, Northwestern improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Mississinewa (Gas City, IN) to confront the Indians in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 3. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Mississinewa lost 68-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Norwell (Ossian, IN)

Next up, the Panthers confront the Frankfort Hot Dogs (Frankfort, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 3. Western will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Hot Dogs come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 83-63 non-league loss to Tipton (Tipton, IN).
