Patterson Lumberjacks (Patterson, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting South Lafourche Tarpons (Galliano, LA), 65-50 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Patterson upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Lumberjacks host Southside (Youngsville, LA) to clash with the in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Southside won 45-42 in their recent non-league bout against Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA)
Next up, the Tarpons clash with the Jesuit Blue Jays (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. South Lafourche will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Blue Jays go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 41-40 non-league loss to Archbishop Shaw (Marrero, LA).
