Peoria Christian Chargers (Peoria, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougars (Oneida, IL), 75-64 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Peoria Christian upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL) to play the Saints in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Saints come into the bout with a record of 3-2. Bloomington Central Catholic won 78-59 in their recent non-league bout against Eureka (Eureka, IL)

Next up, the Cougars play the Brimfield Indians (Brimfield, IL) in a Prairieland bout, on Tuesday, December 6. ROWVA/Williamsfield will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 62-51 non-league win over Annawan (Annawan, IL).
