The Picayune Maroon Tide (Picayune, MS) basketball crushed the visiting Poplarville Hornets (Poplarville, MS), 47-14 in Friday's non-league test.
The Maroon Tide (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Archbishop Hannan (Covington, LA). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 6-0 record. In their last test, Archbishop Hannan walloped Hammond (Hammond, LA), 56-25, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Gautier for a non-league test on Saturday, December 10.
