Roseburg Indians (Roseburg, OR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Sprague Olympians (Salem, OR), 73-61 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Roseburg upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Indians travel to North Eugene (Eugene, OR) to play the Highlanders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 1-2. North Eugene lost 58-54 in their recent non-league bout against Ashland (Ashland, OR)

Next up, the Olympians play the McNary Celtics (Keizer, OR) in a 6A Central Valley bout, on Thursday, January 5. Sprague will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
