Illinois High School Basketball - St. Thomas More edges St. Teresa

The St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL) basketball nipped the host St. Teresa Bulldogs (Decatur, IL), 54-47 in Friday's non-league test.

The Sabers (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL). The Fightin' Irish go into the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Bishop McNamara got by Peotone (Peotone, IL), 55-40, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Judah Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, December 3. St. Teresa will encounter a Tribe squad coming off a 52-37 non-league loss to Villa Grove (Villa Grove, IL). The Tribe record now stands at 2-2.
