Redwood Giants (Larkspur, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Cardinal Newman Cardinals (Santa Rosa, CA), 62-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Redwood upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Giants travel to Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Rancho Cotate won 62-58 in their recent non-league bout against Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, CA)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Montgomery Vikings (Santa Rosa, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 14. Cardinal Newman will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 56-21 non-league loss to Redwood (Larkspur, CA).
