New Mexico High School Basketball - Navajo Prep can't hold off Gallup

The Gallup Bengals basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Navajo Prep Eagles to 51 in the Bengals non-league victory on Friday.

The Bengals now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belen for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13.

The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Aztec (Aztec, NM). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Aztec was nudged by Tohatchi (Tohatchi, NM), 66-18, in a non-league contest.
