In Friday's non-league outing, the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) basketball squad beat the visiting Grants Pirates (Grants, NM), by a margin of 60-40.
The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Aztec (Aztec, NM). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Aztec was beaten by Navajo Prep (Farmington, NM), 62-23, in a non-league outing.
The Pirates now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Tohatchi for a non-league outing on Friday, December 2. Grants will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 41-30 non-league loss to Thoreau (Thoreau, NM). The Cougars record now stands at 1-1.
