The Bob Hope Eagles basketball team (Port Arthur, TX), was overwhelmed 38-3 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Anahuac Panthers (Anahuac, TX)

The Panthers now possess a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buna for a 3A Region III District 22 battle on Tuesday, December 6.

The Eagles (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Waelder (Waelder, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Waelder was overwhelmed by Bob Hope (Port Arthur, TX), 32-27, in a non-league battle.
