Dougherty Valley Wildcats (San Ramon, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA), 49-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Dougherty Valley upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Pittsburg won 57-30 in their recent non-league bout against West (Tracy, CA)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Las Lomas Knights (Walnut Creek, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Berkeley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 49-20 non-league loss to Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA).
