The Big Rapids Cardinals basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Tri County Area Vikings to 27 in the Cardinals league victory on Friday.

The Cardinals now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedar Springs for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Big Rapids will battle a Red Hawks team coming off a 62-24 non-league loss to Grant (Grant, MI). The Red Hawks record now stands at 0-1.

The Vikings (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Greenville (Greenville, MI). The Yellow Jackets come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Greenville triumphed over Sparta (Sparta, MI), 62-34, in a non-league contest.
