Rogers Royals (Rogers, MN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Brainerd Warriors (Brainerd, MN), 50-22 in a league bout.

With the victory, Rogers upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Royals host Centennial (Circle Pines, MN) to play the Cougars in a AAAA Section 7 bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Warriors play the Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm (Sauk Rapids, MN) in a AAA Section 8 bout, on Thursday, December 8. Brainerd will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
