Grenada Chargers (Grenada, MS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Bruce Trojans (Bruce, MS), 67-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Grenada upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Chargers host Coffeeville (Coffeeville, MS) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 3-1. Coffeeville lost 46-32 in their recent non-league bout against Callaway (Jackson, MS)

Next up, the Trojans play the Regents Lions (Oxford, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Bruce will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 74-24 non-league loss to Rossville Christian Academy (Rossville, TN).
