The Calvary Christian Cougar (King, NC) basketball crushed the host Matthews Christian Academy Colts (Matthews, NC), 39-15 in Friday's non-league test.

The Cougar (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Southview Christian (Statesville, NC). The Conquerors go into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Southview Christian walloped Shining Light Baptist Academy (Monroe, NC), 50-25, in a non-league test.

The Colts now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Scotland Christian Academy for a NCCSA A District 2 test on Monday, December 5. Matthews Christian Academy will encounter a Saints squad coming off a 66-5 non-league win over Spirit of Life Christian Academy (Clinton, NC). The Saints record now stands at 3-0.
