Homestead Spartans (Fort Wayne, IN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Carroll Chargers (Fort Wayne, IN), 60-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, Homestead upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Spartans host Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger (Fort Wayne, IN) to play the Saints in a Summit bout on Friday, December 9. The Saints come into the bout with a record of 5-5. Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger lost 60-15 in their recent league bout against Fort Wayne Northrop (Fort Wayne, IN)

Next up, the Chargers play the Northridge Raiders (Middlebury, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Carroll will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 68-14 non-league win over Westview (Topeka, IN).
