Carthage Bulldogs (Carthage, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Livingston Lions (Livingston, TX), 45-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Carthage upgrades its record to 4-10 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Longview (Longview, TX) to clash with the Lobos in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Lobos go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Longview lost 32-30 in their recent non-league bout against Quitman (Quitman, TX)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Dayton Broncos (Dayton, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Livingston will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record.
