New Mexico High School Basketball - Tatum nudges Clayton

In Friday's non-league outing, the Tatum Coyotes (Tatum, NM) basketball squad edged the visiting Clayton Yellowjackets (Clayton, NM), by a count of 54-48.

The Coyotes (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Melrose (Melrose, NM). The Buffaloes go into the non-league outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, Melrose held off Hagerman (Hagerman, NM), 74-11, in a non-league outing.

The Yellowjackets now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hagerman for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 3. Clayton will clash with a Bobcats squad coming off a 74-11 non-league loss to Melrose (Melrose, NM). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-1.
