The Little River Academy Bumblebees basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Crawford Pirates to 9 in the Bumblebees non-league victory on Friday.
The Bumblebees now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thorndale for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Little River Academy will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 42-37 non-league loss to Rockdale (Rockdale, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
The Pirates (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Weimar (Weimar, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Weimar was routed by Jarrell (Jarrell, TX), 59-34, in a non-league contest.
