Traverse City Central Trojans (Traverse City, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Grand Haven Buccaneers (Grand Haven, MI), 31-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Traverse City Central upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Trojans travel to Bay City Western (Auburn, MI) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Bay City Western won 67-18 in their recent non-league bout against Ogemaw Heights (West Branch, MI)

Next up, the Buccaneers play the Reeths-Puffer Rockets (Muskegon, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Grand Haven will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 46-36 non-league win over Spring Lake (Spring Lake, MI).
