Lake City Trojans (Lake City, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Grandville Bulldogs (Grandville, MI), 55-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lake City upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Petoskey (Petoskey, MI) to play the Northmen in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Northmen come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Petoskey won 66-26 in their recent non-league bout against Milan (Milan, MI)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Milan Big Reds (Milan, MI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Grandville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Big Reds come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 66-26 non-league loss to Petoskey (Petoskey, MI).
