Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans (Norcross, GA), 59-56 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Wesleyan upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Wolves host Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA) to play the Indians in a AAA Region 7 bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 5-0. Lumpkin County won 71-39 in their recent non-league bout against Chestatee (Gainesville, GA)

Next up, the Spartans play the Chattahoochee Cougars (Alpharetta, GA) in a AAAAA Region 6 bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Greater Atlanta Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 53-26 non-league loss to Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA).
