Michigan High School Basketball - Roosevelt tipped by Grosse Ile

The Grosse Ile Red Devils basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Roosevelt Bears to 50 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Friday.

The Red Devils now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richard for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Grosse Ile will meet a Pioneers team coming off a 53-13 non-league win over Anderson (Southgate, MI). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-0.

The Bears (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Woodhaven (Brownstown, MI). The Warriors enter the Downriver contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Woodhaven was nudged by Salem (Canton, MI), 48-40, in a non-league contest.
