The North Michigan Christian Academy Comets basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Hale Eagles to 38 in the Comets non-league victory on Friday.
The Comets now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alanson for a Northern Lakes contest on Tuesday, December 6. North Michigan Christian Academy will battle a Vikings team coming off a 44-28 non-league win over Pellston (Pellston, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 1-1.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Rogers City (Rogers City, MI). The Hurons come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Rogers City prevailed over Tawas Area (Tawas City, MI), 55-25, in a non-league contest.
