Harlan Cyclones (Harlan, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Shenandoah Mustangs (Shenandoah, IA), 47-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Harlan upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Cyclones host Kuemper (Carroll, IA) to clash with the Knights in a Hawkeye Ten bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Kuemper lost 52-41 in their recent league bout against Denison-Schleswig (Denison, IA)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Red Oak Tigers (Red Oak, IA) in a Hawkeye Ten bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Shenandoah will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 56-5 league loss to Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA).
