Huntington Park Spartans (Huntington Park, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Workman Lobos (City of Industry, CA), 57-18 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Huntington Park upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Spartans travel to San Pedro (San Pedro, CA) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league bout on Monday, December 5. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 3-6. San Pedro lost 64-59 in their recent non-league bout against Peninsula (Rolling Hills Estates, CA)

Next up, the Lobos clash with the La Puente Warriors (La Puente, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 5. Workman will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
