Ingomar Falcons (New Albany, MS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Myrtle Hawks (Myrtle, MS), 63-23 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Ingomar upgrades its record to 10-0 on the campaign. The Falcons host Tremont (Tremont, MS) to play the Eagles in a 1A Region 2 bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 0-4. Tremont lost 41-28 in their recent non-league bout against Smithville (Smithville, MS)

Next up, the Hawks play the Potts Camp Cardinals (Potts Camp, MS) in a 2A Region 2 bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Myrtle will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Cardinals come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 65-55 non-league win over Okolona (Okolona, MS).
