In their next game, the Dragons face the Ouachita Warriors (Donaldson, AR) in a 2A Region 8 game, on Tuesday, December 6. Junction City will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Warriors enter the game with a 8-3 record after their 67-29 non-league win over Abundant Life (North Little Rock, AR).

With the defeat, Smackover moves to 0-2 on the year. The Buckaroos travel to Drew Central (Monticello, AR) to face the Pirates in a 3A Region 8 game on Wednesday, December 7. The Pirates enter the game with a record of 1-1.
