The Nixon Mustangs felled the host Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) basketball squad by a margin of 50-36 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Mustangs (11-8) will now prepare for their outing against United South (Laredo, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 10-2 record. In their last outing, United South thwarted Harlingen (Harlingen, TX), 50-33, in a non-league outing.
