The Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Pontiac Phoenix to 9 in the Fighting Irish non-league triumph on Friday.

The Fighting Irish now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Regina for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Notre Dame Prep will battle a team coming off a 56-29 non-league loss to Utica Ford (Sterling Heights, MI). The record now stands at 0-2.

The Phoenix (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Our Lady of the Lakes (Waterford, MI). The Lakers enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Our Lady of the Lakes was routed by Genesee Christian (Burton, MI), 59-8, in a non-league contest.
