Texas High School Basketball - West Mesquite ripped by Saginaw

The Saginaw Rough Riders basketball team scored 85 points and held the host West Mesquite Wranglers to 42 in the Rough Riders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Rough Riders now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Princeton for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Saginaw will battle a Panthers team coming off a 58-55 league win over Aledo (Aledo, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 7-5.

The Wranglers (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bowie (Arlington, TX). The Volunteers enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Bowie was routed by McKinney North (McKinney, TX), 50-36, in a league contest.
