The Westwood Rebels basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Siouxland Christian Eagles to 23 in the Rebels league triumph on Friday.

The Rebels now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hinton for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Westwood will battle a Blackhawks team coming off a 62-38 non-league win over Western Christian (Hull, IA). The Blackhawks record now stands at 1-0.

The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against West Monona (Onawa, IA). The Spartans enter the Western Valley - North contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, West Monona triumphed over Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute (Mapleton, IA), 61-60, in a league contest.
