Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) supporters were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting White Pine Bobcats (Ely, NV), 39-19 in a non-league challenge.

With the victory, Pershing County improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Smith Valley (Smith, NV) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 17. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Bobcats confront the Battle Mountain Longhorns (Battle Mountain, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 2. White Pine will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
