Hawkins Hawks (Los Angeles, CA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Collins Family Jaguars (Huntington Park, CA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hawks confront the King/Drew Golden Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) in a Coliseum challenge, on Wednesday, December 7. Hawkins will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Marquez (Huntington Park, CA).
The Jaguars now possess a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to ESAT for a Eastside challenge on Monday, December 5. Collins Family will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 6-0 league loss to Alliance Bloomfield (Huntington Park, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 0-1.
