California High School Soccer - Valley nudges Woodland

Valley Vikings (Sacramento, CA) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Woodland Wolves (Woodland, CA), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Vikings confront the Laguna Creek Cardinals (Elk Grove, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 3. Valley will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Stagg (Stockton, CA).

The Wolves now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dixon for a Golden Empire League challenge on Tuesday, December 6.
