In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Alexander Cougars basketball team scored a good 71-59 triumph over the Wheeler Wildcats.
In their next game, the Cougars meet the South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 5 match, on Tuesday, December 5. Alexander will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 68-59 non-league loss to Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA).
With the defeat, Wheeler moves to 6-1 on the year. The Wildcats host Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA) to meet the Black Knights in a non-league match on Thursday, December 7. The Black Knights enter the match with a record of 2-5.
