The Atascocita Eagles basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Cedar Hill Longhorns to 54 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westfield for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Atascocita will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 70-44 non-league loss to Ellison (Killeen, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-4.
The Longhorns (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Trinity Leadership (Cedar Hill, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Trinity Leadership ran past Taylor (Taylor, TX), 67-65, in a non-league contest.
