Bellarmine Prep Lions (Tacoma, WA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Mark Morris Monarchs (Longview, WA), 62-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bellarmine Prep upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Lions host Rogers (Puyallup, WA) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Rogers lost 76-64 in their recent non-league bout against South Kitsap (Port Orchard, WA)

Next up, the Monarchs play the Hudson's Bay Eagles (Vancouver, WA) in a 2A Greater St. Helens bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Mark Morris will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
