Florida High School Basketball - The Villages Charter can't hold off Blake

December 2, 2023: Tampa, FL 33607

The Blake Yellow Jackets basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting The Villages Charter Buffalo to 55 in the Yellow Jackets non-league victory on Saturday.

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Steinbrenner for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Blake will battle a Warriors team coming off a 51-48 league loss to Sickles (Tampa, FL). The Warriors record now stands at 0-3.

The Buffalo (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Dora (Mount Dora, FL). The Hurricanes come into the 4A District 6 contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Mount Dora was nudged by DeLand (DeLand, FL), 52-38, in a non-league contest.
