With the win, Prestonsburg upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Blackcats travel to Cordia (Hazard, KY) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Hazard Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs (Hazard, KY) in a District 54 bout, on Monday, December 4. Buckhorn will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 70-23 non-league win over Jackson City (Jackson, KY).
